Lorraine is an External Supply Operations Lead for the Hospital Business Unit at Pfizer. Her role supports the Pfizer partnership with contract manufacturers in Europe and the United States to ensure delivery of products to patients all over the world.

Lorraine’s experience comes from Janssen Pharmaceutical Sciences, where she worked in roles of increasing responsibility as Manufacturing Specialist, Business Unit Chemist and Operations Lead. She progressed from Janssen to join the site Leadership and Management team at Hovione in Cork, where she managed a large team of Site Process Engineers, led intensive process improvement projects, and acted as the client interface for all commercial APIs on site.  Lorraine holds a PhD in chemical synthesis and crystallography and a degree in chemistry and forensic science, both from University College Cork.  Lorraine is passionate about women in STEM roles and is a member of the BioPharmachem Ireland Diversity & Inclusion working group for Women in Pharma.
